How To Apply To The I/O Program

Well qualified applicants with a bachelor’s degree (or soon to have a bachelor’s degree) in psychology, business, or other related field are encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will have a strong GPA (minimum 3.2 or better) as well as experience in research and/or some work or leadership experience. Although there is no formal cut-off for providing optional GRE scores, we find students with around 306 (verbal and quantitative combined) tend to do very well in the program.

An applicant should submit two letters of recommendation, a resume/CV, a 750-1,000 word statement of objectives that specifies alignment with our program and future career goals, and optional Graduate Record Examination Test (GRE) scores. Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate courses attempted must also be submitted.

Our priority deadline for both the MS and PhD programs is December 1, 2024. Applications received after December 1, 2024 may be considered if space permits. GRE scores are recommended, but not required, for both programs.

Apply Now!

You may submit an application for our MS program, our PhD program, or both. Incoming students start in the Fall of each year. We do not admit students for Spring or Summer starts.

Preadmission visits to the campus and at conferences are encouraged. Our faculty, staff, and students will be happy to speak with you about the program. If you are interested in meeting our faculty members or our students, please contact Dr. Jessica L. Wildman at jwildman@bianlifan.com.

If you have ANY questions regarding the application process, do not hesitate to reach out to the chair of our I/O programs, Dr. Jessica L. Wildman at jwildman@bianlifan.com or 321-674-7130.

Good luck in your search for an I/O psychology graduate program. We hope you will consider Florida Tech!
